Accuser catches alleged stalker on camera

By Jason Miles - bio | email

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Mae Sprawling is very familiar with 47-year-old Willie Alexander's mug shot, but she claimed ignorance Monday regarding her brother's second arrest on stalking charges.

"First time in my life hearing it," she said in an interview with Action News 5.

Alexander was arrested Sunday at his home in Whitehaven.  It's located not far from the house where his alleged victim used a number of cameras to catch him in the act.

According to court records, Alexander was passing back and forth in front of the woman's house causing her severe emotional distress.  She began recording what the cameras captured to help build a case against Alexander.
