Some lucky teens will win thousands of dollars for their library during the “Why I need my library” contest. Students were asked to submit videos and essays on why they love their library. Yidan Zeng and Sophia Mason, White Station Juniors, are in the editing process of their video about “Why they need and love “the Central Library. Zeng writes about how visiting the Central Library helpd her make friends when she was very young learning to speak English, Zeng wrote, “I used to make friends that way; whenever I saw someone reading a book I had read, I would strike up a conversation, and soon, we weren't strangers anymore." Good luck ladies.
