Man charged with arson for Tulane Apartments fire | Crime
(WMC-TV) – A 24-year-old man has been charged with setting a fire that caused minor damage to an apartment in Whitehaven Tuesday.
Investigators say Octavis Hill set fire to several articles of clothing inside a home in the Tulane Apartments just before 6:30 a.m.
People inside the apartment were able to put the flames out before firefighters made the scene, but the blaze still caused about $1,000 in damage.
Hill, who’s been charged with aggravated arson, is being held on $200,000 bond
