School board to discuss merger plans with parents | Events

(WMC-TV) - The Shelby County Board of Education is going to hold meetings to inform parents about the planned merger of city and county schools.

The meetings are also designed to give board members the chance to hear feedback from parents.

Here's the meeting that will be held in the Whitehaven area:

• Mitchell High School, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18
