Victim identified after hotel murder | News
MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC-TV) - Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in the lobby of a Memphis hotel.
Investigators identified the victim as 26-year-old Cortez Mallard Monday.
Police say paramedics pronounced him dead on inside the Homestead Suites' lobby.
The hotel, on Corporate near I-55, isn't far from the airport.
Police say Mallard was shot around 2:15 Saturday afternoon.
Police say homicide investigators need help solving this crime.
