Memphis Police said a man rammed a stolen car into one of their cruisers, injuring an officer.
20-year-old Russell Morgan was injured himself during the alleged incident overnight.
He's currently held without bond.
Police said Morgan stole a Dodge from a house in Whitehaven.
Then rammed a squad-car as officers tried to block him in on a nearby cove.
The car's owner got it back in pretty rough shape, and was shocked by the whole ordeal.
"You know for somebody to steal a car, then ram the police car, that's just crazy," said owner Bobbie Rooks.
The injured officer was taken to Methodist South with minor injuries.
A second suspect may have been driving a stolen van which was ditched nearby.
